Chiang Mai, Thailand Baan Orapin Bed and Breakfast

Thailand is one of the most amazing places to visit. Everything from the people to the land and everything in between makes it the most memorable place I have ever been to. We decided to visit the enchanting province of Chiang Mai and it was an experience unlike any other. While staying in Thailand we wanted to stay somewhere comfortable and safe so we decided to rest our head at the boutique Baan Orapin Boutique Bed and Breakfast. Our stay was amazing in every way. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable about pretty much everything. Baan Orapin Boutique Bed and Breakfast is a gorgeous mansion made from teak wood built-in 1914. It is well maintained, which you can understand by ...Continue Reading >

What to expect… Before you go to Cambodia to see Angkor Wat!

One of the most beloved and well-preserved Temples in Cambodia, the Angkor Wat was deemed to be a part of the World Heritage List by UNESCO – the only site from the Kingdom of Cambodia. The temple itself, with its history deeply rooted and etched within the long galleries epitomizes the architecturalsophistication of the Khmer Empire. The temple is originally a tribute to the Hindu God Lord Vishnu (The Creator),and the whole site is built as a miniature replica of the universe, with towers, moats, concentric walls, bas-relief carvings, and the sheer enormity of the area has a sensuous allure thatcan captivate you, morning or evening. Apart from the main temple, you can also visit any one ...Continue Reading >

Belize Island Adventure

Don't want to be home for the holidays? This was the perfect trip. This was one time of the year when no one was looking for me. Enjoy the un-tourist guide to the islands of Belize This was our first trip to Belize and we are so very glad that we chose Ramon's! Best place to stay. We got out of  Belize City on the mainland and had our hearts set on Island Life. We took the ferry from San Pedro and out to Ambergris Caye  The staff, especially Jack, made our trip even more memorable! No TV and Wi-Fi were not the greatest in the room but decent in the restaurant and beach area We booked two excursions through the dive shop and both were great! Highly recommend Hoi Chan and Shark Alley snorkeling.  The ...Continue Reading >

Mystic River Resort San Ignacio/Belize

When you arrive in a foreign country it is so nice to see your name on a card held by the person that will take you to your destination. Just so happens the owner, Nadege picks you up and you can ask all the questions you want. Mystic River is a place for the person that wants to read by the river and listen to the sounds of the birds or the person that wants adventure. I wanted both. So much to do I felt that I was at a luxury adventure camp. We arrived late in the day and our arrival was the beginning of an adventure. This is not a paved road street sign destination. It is exciting and it is bumpy. But it was wonderful. Why I felt like it was truly out in the middle of nowhere. I had no intention ...Continue Reading >
