I was looking for someone else that experienced what we did. The park is beautiful but they have to get more trash cans and many more people to stop the children from peeing everywhere. I am not bashing Shanghai. The Tron light cycle ride was amazing. Pirates of the Caribbean was like being in the movie. The soaring over the world was beautiful. But the people that were at Shanghai Disneyland the day were there were pushy, trashing the park, and when you hear a loud announcement asking that you do not allow your child to defecate in line. You know something has to stop.

July 9, 2015, Istanbul, the meeting place of West and East containing a whole new world inside it. Can you imagine being able to visit these places and feel history? Feel the pulse of this part of the country? The history enriched with the mix of old and new all have their own attractions, not any other place can be so rich to start my journey with my son Michael (21) and we reached this beautiful destination on June 10th. We visited the exotic and soothing Turkish spa to refresh our tired souls to get the energy to explore this amazing place. We explored Istanbul from June 10th - 16th.

As our travelers have already been warned, there is a noticeable difference between Western bathrooms and Eastern bathrooms – mainly, the seat! It takes some practice and balance to master the Eastern toilet but we are looking forward to the challenge and know that we will all come home having mastered the squat and having tones glutes to prove it!
